The term 'GetAwayTrips' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the GETAWAYTRIPS CAB RENTAL SERVICE whose registered office is 'GetAwayTrips Pvt. Ltd., Shiva Nagar Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, India - 184101.' The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Booking, Modification, Cancellation and Payment Policy
While booking the cab, or using any service offered at “Get Away Trips” the following rules will apply:
- A booking can be done 90 days in advance and minimum of 3 hours before the trip plus minimum time needed to reach the selected point.
- Booking can be done through our website i.e. www.thegetawaytrips.com or calling us at +91 9469968699
- To confirm the online booking, an advance amount of INR 500 will be charged for local travel and 30% of the total booking amount for outstation travel or any other holiday package. Advance amount will be adjusted against the final amount payable at the end of the trip. On trip cancellation 50% amount of advance will be refunded and 50% will be charged as penalty.
- Cancellation time will be minimum 12 hours for outstation bookings and 6 hours for local bookings.
- For every confirmed booking, a car will be allotted at least 8 hours before the trip for outstation bookings and 3 hours for local booking. The customer will get an email and/or SMS confirmation with the car and driver details after the allotment.
- Customer should carry a printout or screenshot of the booking voucher or the booking confirmations SMS for identification.
- In case of vehicle break-down or accident the company will provide an alternate vehicle or will refund the advance deposit if booking stands cancelled. “Get Away Trips” doesn’t take guarantee of any material or immaterial loss due to damage caused by accident and “Get Away Trips” shall not be subjected to any compensation
- In case of no-show by the customer or last-minute change of time/date of booking, the booking advance amount will be fully forfeited.
- In case of a no-show by the driver for a scheduled departure, the company will provide an immediate replacement with a similar car and in case we cannot find a replacement, a full refund of the advance amount will be done.
- Waiting time for outstation bookings will be 40 minutes and 20 minutes for local bookings. In case waiting time exceeds the given limit, then customer will be charged INR 3/- per minute
- You can modify the start and/or end date (pre-pone or post-pone) for a booking without any modification fee (subject to availability of the vehicle) up to 24 hours or more before the original pickup time.
- All modification requests should be communicated to us via a phone call to 9469968699 or a mail to customercare@thegetawaytrips.com and we will revert with response through email, Call or SMS.
- Modifications are allowed even after starting the trip, subject to availability. Such modification will be done entirely at the discretion of “Get Away Trips” and it may cost extra amount to you.
- Remaining Payment will be done after the Completion of the trip.
- After paying advance amount, the remaining amount for the trip will be paid to the driver or via UPI or any other payment gateway available. The remaining amount shall be paid during or at the end of the trip. All payments done will be subject to adjustment against the final bill. Please call “Get Away Trips” at 9469968699 for any clarifications on billing or other things before/during/end of the trip.
- If paid to the driver, the final payment will always be in cash as the driver might will not be able to charge on card and will not accept any cheque payments.
- In case, the final amount is less than the advance booking deposit (if any), “Get Away Trips” will refund the excess amount back to the customer after confirming with the driver/company. This refund is made within 5-7 working days after the completion of the trip.
Refunds:
All refund requests are processed within 5-7 business days, and payments are always done via the original source of payment for booking the cab. The refund requests done via WhatsApp and SMS are not taken into consideration.
